  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Structural Engineer

Exciting opportunity with a national leader in the wholesale building materials industry located in the Cincinnati area and includes relocation assistance. One unique aspect of this role is the opportunity to grow into a more senior technical or management position.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Provide structural evaluations/calculations for both residential and commercial exterior applications.
  2. General knowledge of Building Science and Building Envelope details, components, and installation techniques.
  3. Lead internal and third-party testing and analysis of products to ensure compliance to applicable building code requirements. Knowledge of the IBC, IRC, and ASCE 7.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Architectural or Mechanical Engineering)
  • Structural design - commercial and/or residential, Building envelope experience highly desired
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools (CAD, MATLAB, etc.) and data analysis tools.
