Job Title: DevSecOps Engineer
Location: Remote - Must Resides within 50 Miles of Hub Locations
Work Schedule: Remote During Contract - Hybrid when converted to FTE at least 1 day/week
Duration: 6+ Months Contract to Hire
No sponsorship available, Candidate must be eligible for Public Trust Clearance and has worked in USA for three years within past 5 years. Position not eligible for H1b conversion or sponsorship.

Must haves:
  • 8+ years of experience working as a DevSecOps Engineer
  • This role will be similar to a DevSecOps Engineer engaged in the requirements gathering for the design and implementation phases.

  • DevSecOps Framework experience is mandatory
  • Must have experience integrating security into all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Prefer one or more DevSecOps certification (ie; E/CDE, CDP, ADSP/ADSOP, MDSOS, Gitlab).
  • Details:
  • Responsible for supporting the test environments used to support Regional, Enterprise and/or other special project releases.
  • Primary duties will include but are not limited to: Assigns and handles customer service requests for all internal workgroups, manages and monitor environment processes for those workgroups.
  • Will coordinate the upgrade of environments for large scale efforts and serve as group contact for major projects and initiatives.
  • Will take ownership of customer issues affecting EMS workgroup processes and manages and enforces processes to support ongoing process improvement.
  • Leads environmental build efforts for large-scale Enterprise project/release efforts.
  • Will perform code migrations and prepare, merge, and version code for production builds.
  • Works with appropriate workgroups to develop SLA's and OLA's based on work assignments and monitors SLA's and OLA's to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Will lead team meetings (in absence of manager). Participates on ad-hoc committees to support Enterprise efforts.
  • Will introduce other area to EMS services and rolls-out EMS process/procedure changes to the Enterprise as needed.
  • Will analyze scope of work requests, develops work plans, leads ad-hoc assignments and internal initiatives and provides leadership and mentoring to all team members.
  • Requires BA/BS; 7+ years of IT experience, including application development experience.
  • Must have Multiple Trade Certifications and multi-platform experience is preferred. Rational Unified Process and Rational Tool Suite experience is needed.
  • Must have experience supporting a DevSecOps Engineer role on a new product build and be directly engaged in the requirements gathering for the design and implementation phases.
