Service Line Sales Specialists (SLS) provide deep expertise in a Service Line Area to support the Client Leadership Team to close new and expansion opportunities on accounts. They are actively involved in growing the service line s footprint and assisting the Client Partners to engage clients with service line opportunities. SLSs are trusted advisors with a good mix of strategic and tactical management experience.
In this role, the SLS will focus on RCG Data & AI Service Lines. The SLS will balance client/project responsibilities with business development and sales responsibilities including identifying, qualifying and closing new business opportunities in Data & AI.

Service Line Sales Specialists (SLS) are field sales executives passionate about crafting, pursuing, and closing opportunities in nominated industry markets/ accounts.
Role Responsibilities
Market Leadership
Creates sales strategies and plan with the Client Partners and for its incorporation into the broader client strategy and plan.
Provides subject matter expertise to proposal development and overall solution.
Relationship Management:
Executes and manages the account plan within function/specialism in agreement with the Client Partner
Run end-to-end lead generation, sales, and RFI/RFP processes
Own and deliver on revenue and Total Commercial Value targets
Work in a matrix organization, enabling prospecting and other sales management goals.
Invests time in strengthening existing client relationships. Participates in reviews and provides educated and relevant perspectives.
Client Relationship Management; engage with CXO, VP and Director level clients

Business Development:
Responds to and deliver on client requests; responds to RFP s
Identifies opportunities, makes proactive proposals to client in line with account strategy
Obtains the approvals to pursue opportunities
Leads pursuits to close new and expansion opportunities related to their sales specialisms, working closely with Client Leadership Team
Secures revenue renewals related to their sales specialisms
Engages the relevant internal RCG teams and service lines team for developing solutions
End to end account management including account forecasting, budgeting and operations
Handles risks and issues related to the account, including delivery oversight.
Creates and presents account QBR presentations and executive status reports
Experience & Skills
10+ years of experience in a senior-level client-facing consulting or account management leadership role, specifically in the Data and AI domain.
Extensive knowledge of Data and AI products in the market, including modern data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, and other cloud-native analytics and data warehousing solutions.
Proven experience in selling modern data platforms and solutions, including data lakes, cloud-based data platforms, and end-to-end AI/ML solutions.
Demonstrated success in leading sales initiatives for Generative AI solutions, with the ability to showcase the value of AI-driven content creation, automation, and customer experience innovations.
Strong knowledge and experience in Generative AI (Gen AI) technologies, understanding their capabilities, use cases, and potential business impact across industries.
Proven ability to conceptualize and develop Data and AI solutions, including hands-on experience with large-scale data strategies, AI-driven innovations, and digital transformation initiatives.
In-depth understanding of cross-industry use cases and their application for Data and AI, helping clients solve real-world problems through intelligent solutions.
Expertise in partner ecosystem collaboration, with a strong understanding of key players in the Data and AI space, including cloud providers, data analytics tools, and AI vendors.
Recent experience working for IT professional services or management consulting firms, particularly in developing and delivering Data and AI strategies.
Experience in managing global service delivery models, ensuring seamless execution and delivering results to large enterprise clients.
Excellent problem-solving, business communication (written & verbal), and client management skills are critical.
Demonstrated success in building opportunity pipelines, qualifying high-priority deals, and consistently winning new business in line with agreed sales targets.
Capable of closing Data and AI deals, ranging from $500K to $10M+, with the ability to navigate complex sales cycles and deliver value-based solutions.
Strong knowledge of current trends in data engineering, artificial intelligence, cloud-native solutions, and digital transformation initiatives.
Proven leadership abilities, including conflict resolution, strategic thinking, and ownership, especially in managing diverse, cross-functional teams.
Experience and knowledge in legacy system modernization and cloud-based Data and AI engineering solutions are preferable.
