Position Overview of the Associate, Technology Infrastructure:

The Associate, Technology Infrastructure will support and troubleshoot industrial computer systems, large scale printers, camera-based piece level tracking equipment, and networking gear. This person must possess a working knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and network concepts. The position reports to the IT Manager. This is an in-person position is based out of our Wayne, New Jersey, office where the Associate will provide on-site support as well as remote support.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Associate, Technology Infrastructure:

  • Provide prompt, efficient, and well-documented work.
  • Act as a liaison to the End User Compute helpdesk.
  • Support small to large-scale printer equipment.
  • Manage network equipment including switches, firewalls, and wireless.
  • Manage DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
  • Interpret diagnostics information & logs.
  • Troubleshoot Hardware, OS, and Application issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Occasional hardware & software provisioning/replacements.
  • Respond to support escalations via phone, email, and ticketing system.
  • Provide in-person and remote technical support to internal employees.
  • Participate in on-call rotation providing evening and weekend support.
  • Create written documentation & procedures.

Skills and Experience of the Associate, Technology Infrastructure:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in IT (computers, networking, and services).
  • Strong working knowledge of networking fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and quick learner must be able to handle approaching the unknown.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent work ethic and self-starter attitude.
  • An ability to approach solutions with security in focus.
