Contract Administrator (Commercial Real Estate Transactions), Baltimore, MD

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to work on a fulltime basis. The ideal Candidate will primarily handle transactional matters, including but not limited to a keen understanding of the drafting, of contracts for purchase, sale, lease, or joint venture of improved or unimproved land, as well as related letters, amendments and supplemental agreements; draft, or assist in drafting, easements, declarations and related land instruments. This candidate should feel comfortable relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organized and be proficient in the following software programs Microsoft Office and using case management systems. This candidate should feel comfortable working autonomously while relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organized.

Responsibilities

Drafting, of contracts for purchase, sale, lease or joint venture of improved or unimproved land, as well as related letters, amendments and supplemental agreements; draft, or assist in drafting, easements, declarations and related land instruments

Manage, organize and settle on open contracts by establishing calendar events, preparing contract summaries, ordering due diligence reports, and supplying parties with materials and funds as dictated by the contract;

Order and review due diligence materials including title, judgments and surveys on land, entities and individuals; and

Working closely with and at the direction of the AVP of Contracts; supporting the Acquisition and Development Departments; supporting Joint Venture and Regional Partners; interacting with Finance and Accounting Department s to disburse and track proper funds; notifying all departments of upcoming deadlines; and communicating with outsides parties and directing legal counsel as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s Degree Required (legal studies is a plus)

Commercial Real Estate experience/knowledge (preferred)

Experience in title settlement services or public record abstracting (preferred)

Knowledge of public record research and the ability to review and analyze legal documents and due diligence materials with great detail

Proficient in Microsoft Office Products

Notary Public Certification (preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Legal Search Engines

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Benefits

This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $65,000 to $85,000.00 and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
