IT / Windows / Linux Tech Interns - onsite position located in Saint Paul, MN

In this role, the IT / Windows / Linux Tech Interns will assist our IT, Development, and Marketing teams by writing scripts, compiling software, installing packages, testing software, creating and updating documentation, providing support, managing IT equipment and services, and creating technical video content to help end users. Our ideal candidate will be highly motivated and goal driven with the confidence to pick projects up quickly and run with them! They will have a self starting attitude with excellent written and communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment for cross-team collaboration.

Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00pm. This position will be fully onsite.
Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota. Nagios is proud to provide services to users worldwide, but at this time we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visa at this time. Wages: $20/hr+ DOQ


Required Experience:

  • Employment OR hobby experience managing IT software, services, and or devices

Preferred Experience:

  • Working knowledge of using and managing Linux systems
  • Experience with network admin tasks
  • Experience with Nagios or other monitoring application
  • Experience with managing network infrastructure components (switches, routers, APs, etc.)
  • Experience creating documentation and/or video tutorials
  • Experience with using and administering Windows machines
  • Experience performing desktop support, server support, or network support
