THE ROLE

Academic Impressions is hiring a Project Coordinator to support our technical team in organizing project development and enabling technical solution delivery. In this role, you will work with our cross-departmental product team to execute a range of projects through the day-to-day management of project timelines, problem-solving, task management and consistent organization of internal and external objectives.

A successful candidate will work on tight deadlines with client deliverables, be incredibly detail oriented in project management, and possess exceptional communication skills in helping facilitate meetings, daily stand ups, weekly Agile ceremonies, and project delivery.

Reporting to the Director of Technology, the Project Coordinator will work with leadership and technical subject matter experts to ensure that both business and technical objectives are being met in accordance with project management best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Director of Technology in prioritizing and planning project execution, including meeting notes, project summaries, presentations, scheduling client meetings, and other daily tasks
  • Along with technical leads, identify and help prioritize and manage deliverables and project tasks
  • Create and manage project schedules to ensure deadlines are met along with major milestones and project completion
  • Review and edit client-facing materials (slides, presentation decks, reports) for compliance, completion, and effectiveness
  • With support from the project team, participate in research, testing, and other internal development tasks
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in project methods, delivery, and reporting
  • Assist with technical customer service for key projects
  • Support general website maintenance

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of project coordination or management in a technical environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Energetic professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced project-based environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with responsibilities to internal and external stakeholders, customers, and member institutions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing, priorities simultaneously
  • Previous project scoping and project delivery experience preferred
  • Experience working in an IT or higher ed environment a plus

NICE TO HAVES

  • Familiarity with Agile & scrum methodologies
  • Experience with Jira & Confluence (or related project management tools)

    SALARY RANGE
    $65,000 - $75,000

    LOCATION

    U.S.-based candidates only. Candidates located within the Denver metro area are preferred; Academic Impressions has a flexible work from home policy. Remote work is a possibility for the right person.
