SAIC offers an exciting and challenging opportunity to support NASA's Commercial Low Earth Orbit development program at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas under the Safety and Mission Assurance Engineering (SMAEC III) Contract. You will work in a collaborative environment comprised of NASA engineers, mission operations specialists, and commercial spaceflight experts. You will apply design and operations knowledge/expertise in the system integration area of S&MA.
Specific tasks may include:
Evaluate safety/integration requirements and provide requirements trace matrices to ensure the correct requirements are being levied on providers.
Review change requests and partner milestone data.
Support partner milestone reviews and requirements interpretation.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Required Education: BS degree in Engineering or related Science/Technical field (Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred)
Must be able to obtain and retain Public Trust security clearance.
SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.

- Provide support to CLDP program boards, panels and technical forums, as directed.
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 15+ years related experience
- Experience with spacecraft design, test and verification, maintenance, integration, and operations
- Experience with emphasis on system integration to inform and influence design, test and verification activities, and planned flight operations
- Experience with requirements documentation, interpretation, and development
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
- Technical excellence, integrity, and self-initiative
- Ability to work effectively across multiple organizations / stakeholders and within a teaming environment to get results
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Power Point, Excel)
