Network Engineer - Onsite

Piper Companies is hiring a Network Engineer for a large enterprise company located in Richardson, TX. The Network Engineer will be working on the Learning and Certifications team and focus on all aspects of training and certifications. The Network Engineer will need to work on-site in Richardson, TX, Monday through Friday and is a long term contract opportunity.

Responsibilities for the Network Engineer:

• Plan, build and manage the existing footprint and expansion of all aspects of a data center including but not limited to:
  • Rack, Infrastructure, Cable Design and Management
  • IP management and Device Network
  • Issue resolution management
  • Compliance Management
  • Data Center Policy Compliance

Requirements for the Network Engineer:

• 5+ Years experience in Data Center Operations or Production Network roles
• 3+ Years experience with Windows, Linux and Cisco network operating Systems
• CCNP/CCNP (DC and/or Routing and Switching)
• Strong expertise in troubleshooting and operating complex networks with segmentation and virtualization

Compensation for the Network Engineer:

• $90,000 - $110,000 (at an hourly rate)
