Our client, a celebrated leader in luxury hospitality interior design internationally, is looking for a Junior Interior Designer with hospitality experience to join their team in Los Angeles.

With a stunning portfolio of acclaimed and notable hospitality projects under their belt and an exciting pipeline of work ahead, they are seeking a refined Junior Interior Designer with at least 2 years of experience to contribute to the full scope of their luxury, design-led projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the full scope of hospitality focused projects, from initial concept to final construction
  • Communicate effectively with contractors, vendors and clients, playing a key role in translating their vision into reality
  • Curate FF&E packages, including the selection of materials and finishes
  • Assist in crafting intricate millwork and elevation drawings, ensuring precision and creativity in every aspect
  • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive construction document sets, focusing on both accuracy and innovation
  • Maintain timelines and budgets while bringing fresh ideas that align with the firm’s high design standards

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Interior Architecture or Interior Design
  • Previous experience within the high-end hospitality sector required
  • Strong technical and conceptual design skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp
  • Comprehensive understanding sourcing and specifying luxury FF&E, joinery, and detailing
  • Familiarity communicating with top vendors in the industry
  • Confidence in sketching and presenting new ideas
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to contribute to impactful design presentations
  • A proactive approach to handling complex design challenges, from concept through completion
