We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Manager with extensive experience in IT services and a strong background in the investment banking or BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of technology solutions, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving operational excellence for projects in the BFSI sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage End-to-End Project Delivery:
  • Lead the successful delivery of IT solutions, from project initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely delivery.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management:
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs, and delivering solutions that drive value.
  • Ensure frequent communication with stakeholders, providing project updates and managing expectations.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects using methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Monitor project performance, ensure adherence to SLAs, and manage risks and issues proactively.
  • Optimize processes to ensure delivery efficiency and continual improvement.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, business analysts, and project managers.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the delivery team.

Domain Expertise:

  • Leverage deep expertise in investment banking or BFSI to guide projects and align solutions with industry standards and regulations.
  • Stay current with trends and advancements in the BFSI domain, ensuring solutions are future-proof and aligned with evolving industry requirements.

Risk and Compliance:

  • Ensure all project deliveries comply with industry regulations, including risk management, data privacy, and financial compliance standards.
  • Work with regulatory teams to meet all BFSI regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT services with 5+ years in the BFSI or investment banking domain.
  • Proven experience in project delivery management in IT services or consulting firms.
  • Strong understanding of financial services regulations, banking products, and financial markets.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (Jira, Trello, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and financials.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of emerging technologies in the BFSI sector (e.g., blockchain, AI/ML in finance, FinTech solutions).
  • Experience working with global delivery models and geographically distributed teams.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
