Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee complex IT Infrastructure projects that span from 6 months to 2 years in duration with budgets ranging from $500,000 to $5,000,000. The role involves leading matrixed teams comprised of network, systems, and security engineers to deliver technical solutions aligned with business objectives. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and within scope, ensuring cross-functional teams are aligned and working efficiently. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end technical projects involving networking, systems, and security engineering teams.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure project goals are met on time and within scope.
  • Act as the primary liaison between engineering teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Coordinate across multiple teams to ensure resource allocation, risk mitigation, and project execution.
  • Conduct regular project status reviews, identify potential risks, and develop contingency plans.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Manage project budgets ranging from $500,000 to $5,000,000, ensuring cost control and financial tracking.
  • Lead cross-functional team meetings, drive accountability, and maintain project documentation.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience managing technical projects with matrixed teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science); advanced degree preferred.
  • PMP certification required; additional certifications (e.g., ITIL, Agile) are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge in IT Infrastructure including networking, systems, and security technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage projects with budgets ranging from $500,000 to $5,000,000.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional technical teams, managing resources, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience working with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.
