Job Description:

Project Objective:

The goal of this project is to provide mainframe system production support by ensuring the mainframe applications are consistently available and operational to meet business demands. This will be achieved through:

  • Ensuring minimal downtime through proactive system monitoring and swift resolution of issues.
  • Detecting, logging, and resolving system disruptions while minimizing impact on business operations.
  • Documenting known issues and their resolutions.
  • Supporting ad-hoc reporting needs for business stakeholders.

Scope of Work:

This role will backfill system production support due to the loss of a key resource and assist in maintaining business continuity for the mainframe licensing system. The contractor will provide all necessary services to achieve the project objectives, including:

  • Maintaining system quality and performance to meet user needs.
  • Documenting current workflows and data quality for system conversion purposes.
  • Supporting modernization efforts by identifying and solving business and programming issues during the Driver Services conversion process.
  • Assisting with data cleansing (e.g., CT300 licenses, registration suspensions, public acts).
