Job Description:



We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The role will primarily focus on supporting on our Content Delivery Networks front (Akamai), handling URL redirects, and supporting global domain operations. The ideal candidate is a fast learner who can work independently, adapt quickly, and meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities:



- Work alongside Infra Lead to manage and optimize CDN configurations to ensure efficient content delivery and performance across global regions.

- Set up, configure, and manage URL redirects to ensure seamless user experience across multiple domains and platforms.

- Assist in managing global domain operations, including domain registrations, renewals, and DNS configuration.

- Troubleshoot CDN, URL redirects, and domain-related issues to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.

- Collaborate with internal teams to align CDN strategies and domain management with business goals.

- Monitor performance metrics for CDN and domains, proactively addressing any issues.

- Document infrastructure changes and provide detailed support for CDN, redirects, and domain management processes.

- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to CDN, URL redirects, and global domain management.



Requirements:



- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Basic understanding of CDN technologies and principles (e.g., Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly).

- Familiarity with URL redirect management and basic networking/DNS concepts.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve CDN and DNS-related issues.

- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders.

- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools, platforms, and challenges.



Preferred Qualifications:



- Experience with CDN platforms such as Akamai, Cloudflare, or AWS CloudFront.

- Familiarity with DNS management tools and domain registrars.

- Basic scripting knowledge to automate CDN and redirect processes.

- Prior experience in infrastructure support or similar roles.
