Key Responsibilities:

  • The Collections & Customer Relations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the collection of revenue from patients, ensuring the effective functioning of the billing and insurance departments.
  • The role involves evaluating financial data, developing and implementing improved collection methods, and collaborating on policies to maximize revenue recovery across clinics and business offices.
  • The Manager will analyse delinquent accounts, authorize write-offs, and handle negotiations with collection agencies and legal teams when necessary.
  • Additionally, this role includes optimizing system functionality to streamline follow-up and collection processes, generating financial reports, and analysing revenue cycle opportunities.
  • The Manager will provide support for customer relations, addressing patient inquiries regarding billing issues, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • This position will also serve as a liaison for financial matters between the clinics and the business office.
  • The role involves hiring, training, and supervising staff, as well as managing performance and disciplinary actions when needed.
  • The Manager will also represent the organization in litigation and settlement negotiations related to collections.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills:Collections, Patients, Management .
  • Bachelor s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field, or four (4) years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years of collections experience in healthcare or a related field, and two (2) years of management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to billing, collections, and reimbursement procedures from third-party and private insurance payers.
  • Strong leadership and customer service skills required.
