Informatica MDM Technical Project Manager
Top Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with extensive experience in Informatica MDM (Master Data Management) and cloud migration projects, preferably in the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will lead the technical implementation and migration of our on-premises MDM solution to a cloud environment, ensuring seamless integration, security compliance, and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and technical experts to deliver projects on time and within scope, driving business transformation through modern cloud technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end project life cycles for the migration of Informatica MDM solutions from on-premises to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Develop and implement strategies for the smooth transition of MDM applications and associated data to the cloud, ensuring minimal disruption to healthcare operations.
- Provide technical direction, best practices, and oversight during the migration process, including infrastructure setup, data security, and integration with cloud services.
- Collaborate with healthcare business leaders, technical architects, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Ensure all cloud solutions comply with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, and other data protection standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud migration, such as data integrity, downtime, performance, and security vulnerabilities.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, including developers, architects, data engineers, and QA specialists, ensuring clear communication and task coordination.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, timelines, risk registers, and technical specifications.
- Monitor project budgets and allocate resources effectively to ensure projects are completed on time and within financial scope.
- Provide training and post-migration support to operational teams to ensure they are equipped to manage the new cloud-based MDM solution.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7yrs experience as a Technical Project Manager
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing MDM solutions, preferably Informatica MDM.
- Proven track record of managing cloud migration projects (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Strong background in the healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of healthcare data standards, regulatory requirements (HIPAA, HITECH), and best practices.
- Expertise in Informatica MDM implementation, configuration, and migration.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of data governance, ETL processes, and data security standards in healthcare.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), with proven ability to lead large-scale technical projects.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data integration tools, cloud-based data warehousing solutions, and other MDM-related technologies.
- Certifications in Informatica, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform, or other cloud technologies preferred.
- Knowledge of data lakes, big data platforms, and cloud-native services.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- PMP, Agile, or Scrum Master certifications preferred.
