POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Developer Integrations will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of data integrations and internal applications. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction, and overseeing the successful implementation and reliable operation of CVR's application solutions, including data and code support. Reporting to the Manager of Internal Applications, this position focuses on integration and internal applications within the Oil and Gas sector.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor s Degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, or another relevant technical field is required. However, significant technical experience may be considered in place of formal education.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in technology integration and application development, with increasing responsibilities in consultative or IT roles.
  • Proficient in high-level programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
  • Skilled in working with SQL/NoSQL (Tables, Views, Stored Procedures), Oracle (Tables, Views, Stored Procedures), PostgreSQL, and TOAD or similar tools.
  • Expertise in cloud-native data systems using ETL/ELT processes and cloud warehouse technologies (Redshift, Snowflake, Azure, Delta Table).
  • Experience with integration technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Logic Apps, sFTP, SSIS, and/or ODI.
  • Ability to learn and adopt new integration and development tools to streamline the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience in creating and managing security frameworks for custom applications.
  • Strong background in developing, automating, and maintaining data and system integrations, particularly in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Solid understanding of web services such as SOAP, REST, and Web APIs (desired but not required).
  • Experience with EDI and B2B integration setup and maintenance is a plus.
  • Familiarity with XML, XSLT, XSD, and XPATH.
  • Adept at understanding and translating functional and technical requirements into stable application development solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Strong grasp of business processes, flows, and how applications interact within these processes.
  • Ability to evaluate new requirements and their impact on existing applications.
  • Effective communication with business users to gather requirements and suggest design improvements or new patterns when necessary.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to adjust working hours based on business priorities.
  • Willingness to travel when required.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Implement and maintain a variety of integration technologies to meet the organization s business objectives.
  • Gather requirements, design, and develop new integrations or enhance existing applications.
  • Contribute to defining and guiding integration strategies for the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to understand technical strategies and roadmaps.
  • Ensure integration applications adhere to the company s IT security guidelines.
  • Participate in testing cycles for all development projects and enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application integrations.
  • Work closely with partner organizations and vendors.
  • Address and resolve ServiceNow/help desk tickets as part of the IT team.
  • Assist with monthly maintenance outages and disaster recovery projects as needed.
  • Provide guidance and assist team members with process flows, including application and data process steps.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business relationship managers to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to integration solutions across the enterprise.
