Electrical & Instrumentation Designer
KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.
KBR is looking for an Electrical & Instrumentation Designer under direct supervision, to independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. With additional experience within one functional area, assists in the design of larger and more complex assignments which involve conventional types of plans, investigations and surveys with relatively few complex features for which there are precedents. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Electrical design to support minor and major capital improvement projects in polymer films facility
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years field experience in chemical process as an electrician
- HS diploma in electrical vocation
- Knowledge of power, controls and instrumentation
- Familiarity with DuPont engineering standards/codes a plus
- Strong communication skills required
- Competency in MS Office software required
