Our Client, a well-established, Client Company, is seeking an experienced EDI Analyst to join their IT Department. This position is based on-site in Central Florida with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

In this role, you'll take the lead in designing, testing, and implementing business-critical transactions related to EDI. Working closely with a dynamic team of technical experts, users, and management, you'll help shape applications that are not only functional but also fuel business growth.

The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator with 4+ years of experience as an EDI Analyst and experience working with SAP. Prior experience with Client, Food Manufacturing, or Grocery is highly preferred.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use Business integration tools to provide integration solutions for internal and external customers.
  • Create, test, implement and support solutions that resolve business challenges or inefficiencies.
  • Partner with cross functional teams on issue resolution
  • Create functional specifications using company accepted standards.
  • Provide training to the customer management team to enable self-support of EDI services.
  • Analysis of business/customer problems and recommendation of improvements/solutions
  • Be available for on call support and disaster recovery related to the EDI area.
  • Work collaboratively with technical staff, users, customers, and third-party providers to design applications and implement solutions that fit business needs.
  • Perform application and integration testing.
  • Create data flow diagrams, testing and QA documentation as well as user help documentation.
  • Verification of production changes and coordination with business units effected.
  • Work closely with IT Team for all hardware & software upgrades

Qualifications, Requirements, and Competencies:
Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or in-lieu of degree, equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience as an EDI Business Analyst
  • 4+ years of EDI to ERP interlinks and business document transmission.
  • Strong working knowledge of EDI Systems (True Commerce, SPS Commerce, Trusted Link)
  • Experience with working SAP SAP ECC preferred. Extensive experience with a comparable ERP may be consider (Oracle, MS Dynamics, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and work as a team player
  • Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivated
  • Maintain a positive attitude and be supportive to management.
