Research Lab Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Research Lab Technician to support our scientists, engineers, and research teams. This role involves assisting with daily lab operations and contributing to research and development projects to meet corporate timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare reagents and media
• Load/unload samples from small-scale machinery and equipment
• Operate and maintain autoclave
• Clean lab glassware and equipment
• Maintain inventory and stock lab supplies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Biomanufacturing, or a related field
• 0 to 2 years of experience in a lab environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in lab record keeping and organizational skills
• Quick learner who follows instructions and adheres to standard operating procedures
• Committed to safety and quality
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
• Proficient with spreadsheets and handheld electronic batch record software
