Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an Endpoint Security Administrator to work at USSTRATCOM/J6 at Offutt AFB, Nebraska.
What you will do:
Manages team that provides technical assistance to computer system and network users.
May also have oversight for a data center.
Provides 24/7 technical support for computers and associated networks.
Implements policies and procedures regarding how problems are identified, received, documented, distributed, and corrected.
Ensures maximum issue resolution in minimum time to meet Service Level Agreements.
Evaluates new information systems products or services and suggests changes to existing products or services to better aide the end user.
Coordinates the preparation of bid specifications for required purchases (e.g., computers, software, (email, firewall, backup) and a variety of parts, supplies, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining availability of required items.
Directs, establishes, plans, and implements the policies and procedures to support the organization's technical support services.
Manages the deployment, maintenance, support and upgrade of servers, desktop PCs, hardware, software, operating systems, and distributed printers.
Monitors technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities.
Qualifications
What you will need:
0 years with BS/BA; 4 years of relevant work/or commensurate experience in a military evironment with no degree
IAT Level-II certificate that meets DoD 8140 requirements (Security+)
Understanding of network troubleshooting, TCP/IP, subnets, Virtual Desktop Instances (VDI), SQL databases, Server and thick client administration, VMWare virtual environments, Linux and Windows
administration
Trellix administration experience or comparable endpoint security suite
McAfee Rogue System Detection (RSD) administration
SQL Database administration experience
Server administration experience on multiple networks
Virtualization technology knowledge and experience
TS/SCI security clearance
Desired Experience:
HBSS Administrator 201
HBSS Advanced Administrator 301
IT Administration or Security degree
SQL Management Studio experienceTarget Salary Range
$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
