Varian, a Siemens Healthineers Company, provides leading solutions for all forms of Oncology treatment including integrated hardware and software solutions that further our mission of creating a World Without the Fear of Cancer.

We are seeking an innovative, passionate, articulate, and highly self-motivated individual to join the Digital Oncology Product Management leadership team. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving the development and commercialization of key portions of the Digital Oncology portfolio’s market leading software solutions including radiation therapy treatment planning. The Senior Director, Product Management role will have cross-functional responsibility to drive and deliver the financial, clinical and market performance of the treatment planning software suite. If you have a proven ability to foster strong customer relationships and balance the diverse needs of cross-functional stakeholders, and delivering products that customers love, this position is for you.

Specific Responsibilities Include

  • Directs and develops a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life.
  • Identifies and executes on opportunities to simplify customer adoption of product(s).
  • Directs those involved in the design, modification and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products.
  • Formulates and executes long-term plans for cost/profit control.
  • Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends.
  • Functions as a central resource with design, manufacturing, quality, test, marketing, and distribution as the product(s) move through their lifecycle.
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the product line(s).

Minimum Required Skills And Knowledge

  • Deep experience in leading regulated medical device product lines through effective P&L management.
  • Domain experience in Radiation Therapy highly required.
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic thinking, competitive benchmarking, market segmentation and a successful track record in executing global, practice changing go-to-market strategies.
  • Familiarity with US and global reimbursement dynamics preferred.
  • Ability, competence, and confidence to lead people.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.

Typical Education And Experience

  • PhD or equivalent experience in related medical device industries.
  • 10+ years of experience in leading large cross-functional teams.

The base pay range for this position is

Min $194,500 - Max $350,100

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
