Were on the hunt for a Debt Finance Associate with 4+ years of experience to join our clients corporate practice in New York. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of debt financing, including senior secured lending, mezzanine financing, acquisition financing, asset-based financing, and venture debt. • Handle senior secured lending, mezzanine financing, acquisition financing, asset-based financing, and venture debt transactions.
• Negotiate and draft intercreditor agreements and manage relationships between lenders and borrowers.
• Provide legal advice and counsel on private equity sponsor deals from both the borrower and lender perspectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of debt finance deals.
• Manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment while balancing client needs and business goals.

• Debt Finance Expertise: Strong experience handling various forms of debt financing, including senior secured lending, mezzanine financing, and acquisition financing.
• Private Equity Experience: Experience working with private equity sponsors, either from the borrower or lender side, is essential.
• Client Service Excellence: Ability to work closely with demanding clients while maintaining professionalism and delivering top-tier legal service.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in team settings.

• Juris Doctor (JD) or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted or eligible for admission in New York.
• 4+ years of debt finance and private equity experience.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and balance competing responsibilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings.

• Competitive salary ranging from $310,000 to $365,000, plus bonus eligibility.
