Network Analyst Position
  • Location:Salt Lake City (Hybrid)

Job Summary:We are seeking a Network Administration Specialist to join our team for implementation, maintenance, and operational support of large enterprise networks. This position offers a hybrid work schedule (partial in-office presence required, not 100% remote).

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and configuration changes on network routers, switches, and wireless equipment
  • Implement and configure new network infrastructure components
  • Troubleshoot internetwork connectivity and wireless issues
  • Utilize change management and ticketing systems with proper documentation
  • Complete assignments and project work to quality standards within specified timeframes
  • Follow documented processes, procedures, and policies
  • Provide customer service and respond to project requests as defined by management
  • Participate in on-call support rotation with team members

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience administering Network Routers and Switches
  • SolarWinds management experience
  • Cisco router and switch expertise
  • TCP/IP routing experience
  • Network break/fix experience in layer 2 and 3 environments
  • Proven ability to work effectively under average supervision in fast-paced environments
  • Team-oriented mindset with focus on quality and successful completion of team goals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of current cybersecurity best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Network-related industry certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science
  • Cisco Wireless experience
  • Cisco Nexus platform experience
  • Cisco SDWAN expertise
  • SPLUNK experience
  • Nuclear clearance
  • Experience in regulatory compliance environments
  • Utility company enterprise network support experience
  • Strong packet capture analysis skills
