Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy that aligns with company goals and market needs. Translate business objectives into actionable product initiatives.
  • Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines key features, priorities, and timelines. Ensure alignment with stakeholders and adapt as needed.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to understand customer pain points and identify new opportunities.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, including ideation, design, development, testing, launch, and iteration. Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.
  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless product development and execution. Clearly communicate product requirements, priorities, and timelines.
  • User-Centered Design: Gather and analyze user feedback, prioritize user stories, and work closely with the UX/UI team to ensure products provide an optimal customer experience.
  • Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring clear requirements and acceptance criteria for development teams.
  • Performance Tracking & KPIs: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and customer satisfaction. Use data-driven insights to optimize products and inform decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on product progress, releases, and future plans.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and launch plans that ensure the successful adoption of new features or products.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer preferences. Propose and implement product improvements based on new insights.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in [industry or domain]. Experience in managing software products is highly desirable.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Proven track record of managing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, including iterative improvements.
  • Agile Methodology: Strong understanding and experience working within Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively convey complex ideas and product features to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Customer-Centric: Demonstrated ability to deeply understand customer needs and translate them into actionable product features.
  • Technical Background: Familiarity with software development processes and technology stacks, including APIs, cloud services, and data platforms (experience as a developer or with technical projects is a plus).
  • Market Research: Ability to conduct thorough market research, analyze competitors, and gather customer insights.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
  • Domain Expertise: Experience in [specific industry or domain], such as Fintech, SaaS, eCommerce, or others, is highly desirable.
  • Tools: Proficiency in using product management tools such as Jira, Trello, Aha!, or similar platforms.
