Duties and Responsibilities:

The Information Technology Supervisor supervises the implementation and administration of information systems and equipment in accordance with organizational policies and goals. The IT Supervisor will administer internal procedures and guidelines to diagnose and resolve technical issues across different systems and technologies, including hardware, software, and networks. The incumbent will oversee the analysis of business needs and select IT hardware and software products to support internal business processes.

In coordination with the Group Head of ICT, the IT Supervisor will develop detailed documentation of methodologies, processes and specifications of the organization s IT systems and assist with planning the organization s IT roadmap. The incumbent will manage the IT strategy and roadmap to ensure computer equipment, hardware, software operate in alignment with the organization s needs and standards. He/she will plan and implement the organization s network infrastructure including LANs, WANs and wireless networks and monitor network performance. They are also responsible for allocating resources and overseeing departmental budget to support and manage IT projects through the entire lifecycle. The IT Supervisor will also supervise the Information Technology Specialist in their day-to-day activities, providing guidance and support to assist them in meeting departmental goals.

Key duties include but not limited to the following:

Evaluating the organization s IT needs and finding ways to improve the products and systems in place for enhanced productivity, security, and efficiency.

Recommending upgrades and enhancements to top management, explaining the key benefits of new tech-based investments for the business.

Developing and overseeing the IT policy, security measures and best practices for the company.

Scheduling and supervising IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, system updates and outages.

Managing IT team members, assisting in performance evaluation and offering guidance for advancement within the company.

Identifying opportunities for IT training and developing classes that will equip employees to make the best use of the products and systems available.

Direct the activities of the help desk to ensure the IT needs of users are met.

Perform ongoing support and maintenance of all hardware, software, and network components.

Vendor management purchasing and procurement of software and hardware, scheduling of services, and on-site tech visits.

General Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in information technology (IT), computer science, or a related field.

5+ years experience in related area as an individual contributor.

1- 3 years supervisory experience.

Requirements: Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of industry-standard computer hardware and software systems.

Expert knowledge in network administration including HPE Aruba Networking and HPE Aruba Central, Cisco.

Expert knowledge in NGFW, including Palo Alto Networks PA Series and Panorama and Fortinet.

Experience managing on-premises servers, SAN (HPE Nimble) and virtualized environments (VMware and Hyper-V)

Expert knowledge in Windows Servers and Active Directory, DFS management file server, Radius role and WI-FI Enterprise.

Experience in AWS server cloud management.

Microsoft 365 management experience including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra, and Intune.

Experience in Backup and Disaster Recovery. Unitrends Backup, VEEAM and Forever Cloud experience is a plus.

Experience managing cloud-based phone systems. Avaya Cloud Office experience is a plus.

Experience with endpoint security and XDR solutions.

Working knowledge of OT Networks, PLC, and SCADA systems is a plus.

Working knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Professional certifications with Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks (PCCET, PCNSA, PCNSE), and HPE Aruba Networking (ACSA, ACSP, or ACSX) is a plus.

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a manufacturing setting and professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Some of the work will require exposure to loud noises or fumes in the plant facility, collaborating with officials, plant managers and employees.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
