About the Job

The Website Technical Strategist is a role to build upon your technical strengths. This role will grow into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of our Content Management System (CMS). This role will also be a technical tester of our website and will allow the individual the opportunity to code small to medium enhancements and fixes. Additional responsibilities include creating and managing documentation, assisting with requirement gathering, and implementing enterprise-wide key.com marketing deliverables.

Essential Job Functions
  • Assist Web Content Managers (WCMs) with building web pages, provide support for questions/issues within the CMS and escalate when appropriate.
  • Perform testing of enhancements and regression testing, with a curiosity to try to break the page.
  • Ability to suggest root cause or highlight potential code and CMS configuration changes to correct issues.
  • Understanding and curiosity of a Content Management System (CMS); with expected growth to obtain a mature understanding of complexities of the CMS and other related internal tools.
  • Contribute to internal documentation and peer training.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects or assignments.


Qualifications
  • Detail-oriented; ability to organize thoughtfully, spot errors, and think critically.
  • Interest in troubleshooting/diagnosing website issues and communicating those issues to roles both technical and non-technical.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Ability to read and debug code.
  • Understanding or willingness to learn web marketing concepts including search engine optimization, knowledge of industry online best practices, and web standards.
  • Ability to analyze, summarize and interpret complex information; can move logically from findings to conclusions.
  • Can prepare and present findings in a concise and understandable format.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.


Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • Experience with Agile Development tools (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 (Web Accessibility Standards).
