The candidate must have considerable technical skills and be able to work in a agile environment. Resource should have ample development and analytical skills. Resource will need to build knowledge around current settlement systems in initial few weeks. You will be involved in all stage on development cycle from requirement, analysis, design, development, testing with timely

delivery for various regulatory as well as strategic projects.

To be successful as a Java Developer, you should:

  • Experience using and supporting Java J2EE based enterprise critical applications
  • Experience working with offshore and onshore development teams
  • Experience maintaining micro services using Apache Camel / Spring Integration EIP Framework on premise
  • Experience in spring boot, Rest API & Microservices.
  • Experience developing medium to large Applications using different Cloud technologies like AWS, OpenShift/Kubernetes using docker


Other highly valued skills include:

  • Expertise in No-SQL database
  • Good to have knowledge on AWS services - EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, Lambda, ELB, Amazon API Gateway, Cloud watch & Elastic Beanstalk.
  • Understanding SWIFT / Fix messages used in finance domain
  • Finance domain experience / Settlement system knowledge / previous experience
  • Experience in caching solutions & frameworks.

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

Accountabilities
  • Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
  • Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
  • Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
