Lockheed Martin (LM) Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Quality Engineer (QE) for a position based out of Orlando, FL. This program is a fast-paced development environment requiring technical acumen and critical thinking.

What You Will Be Doing
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Reviews documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer.
- Supports Integrated Product Teams and various production sites with reviews of quality data on failures, yields, rework, scrap, and non-conformance aging.
- Ability to analyze and resolve design, manufacturing, and process issues varying from basic to very complex and technically challenging.
- Attending program corrective action meetings, identifying trends, assisting in problem resolution and ensuring responsible parties meet requirements and commitments.
- Participating in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards which includes dispositioning non-conforming hardware, identifying hardware containment requirements, identifying appropriate root cause and corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence.
- Performing assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, procedures and ISO-9001 / AS9100.
- Evaluating the design assurance activities and implementation of production process methodology to prevent impacts to production velocity and quality.
- Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality related issues.
- Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement.
- Making the final decision on acceptability of product.
- Supporting Quality operations within a Lab Environment in which products are being manufactured, tested, and delivered to end customers.
