The company is a financial institution dedicated to implementing and monitoring Regulatory and Financial Crimes Compliance Programs.
About the Role:
The Onboarding and Due Diligence Officer assists in various compliance tasks such as Periodic Account Reviews, onboarding new customers, and providing administrative support to the Compliance Department.
Responsibilities:
- Review and complete a Periodic Account Review (PAR)
- Review customer onboarding package and maintenance requests
- Conduct general research of an individual or entity
- Assist on compliance portions of examinations
- Support and respond to audit and regulators examinations
- Support cross functional partners including sales teams
- Complete compliance reviews as needed
- Suggest process enhancements
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of U.S. banking business
- Ability to read and understand financial statements
- Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in various compliance monitoring systems
- Strong analytical skills
- Optional: Ability to read and write in foreign language relevant to clients
- Optional: Ability to manipulate automation and AI tools
Pay range and compensation package: $115,000 to $130,000
Experience Required/Preferred: Min 5 years in Financial Services BSA/AML Compliance
Education Required/Preferred: BA or BS. Major in related discipline, preferable in Accounting, Business, Finance or Law enforcement or a Law Degree
CCRP, CRCM, CAMs or comparable certification
Languages Required/Preferred: English, Hebrew - optional
