We are seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be leveraging your skills in Citrix Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Active Directory, Automation, AWS Technologies, Backup Technologies, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Windows Azure, PowerShell Scripting, PowerShell, Windows PowerShell, Terraform, VMware, Vmware Infrastructure, and Vmware Technologies to manage and enhance our technical infrastructure. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Implement and validate the installation of various network components including but not limited to Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), MS Azure, VMWare, Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM), Hypervisors and virtualization sub-systems.
Custom designing solutions to deliver virtualization platforms to end users through defined groups and access controls.
Administer and maintain a variety of virtualization environments including MS Azure and VMWare.
Support Citrix and virtualization platforms related to Change Management and Ticket tracking systems.
Utilize scripting languages, mainly PowerShell, to automate tasks related to the installation, configuration, and management of IT systems and services.
Provide advanced troubleshooting and support, stepping in mid-problem when necessary.
Design and implement Cloud-based solutions that provide remote access experiences.
Utilize AD groups to control access to various resources.
Manage MS Azure Cloud and MS Server OS and Workstation.
Apply Infrastructure as Code methodologies for efficient system management.
Develop advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation and system management
Requirements
Proficiency in Citrix Technologies
Familiarity with Cloud Technologies including AWS and Azure
Experience with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
Ability to design and implement automation processes
Knowledge of backup technologies
Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, Windows Azure
Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting, Windows PowerShell
Experience with Terraform
Familiarity with VMware, VMware Infrastructure, VMware Technologies
Ability to design, develop, and maintain system architecture
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving system issues
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
