Intelligent Video Solutions (IVS) is presenting an exciting and unique opportunity to join a fast growing, innovative, emerging technology company at the ground floor. We provide innovative solutions that improve the lives of those who are served by Higher Education, Healthcare, Government and Corporate organizations.

As an Application Support Engineer your solid communication skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to build long-term business relationships will help our clients solve their immediate challenges with optimizing our software solution, VALT.

Here is what you will do in this role:

  • Quickly learn all hardware, software and related components of our VALT solution.
  • Deliver outrageous customer service.
  • Provide remote support for IVS customers who utilize our VALT software solution.
  • Remotely install and configure the VALT software solution and all related equipment for customers.
  • Test and configure new equipment for deployment.
  • Remotely train new and existing IVS customers.
  • Provide Quality Assurance for new software releases.
  • Support onsite IVS Installation Technicians.

Here are some experiences that will help you succeed in this role (but we can help you learn these competencies):

  • Experience with LEMP stack applications and technologies
  • 5+ years' experience with hands-on technical support of desktops/laptops and software troubleshooting
  • 3+ years' experience in providing technical customer problem/resolutions over the phone
  • Experience working with remote support tools such as TeamViewer, GoToAssist, or Splashtop.
  • Solid understand of basic networking concepts
  • Experience assisting end users with multiple operating systems (Windows, OSx, Linux)
