Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 9-10 years of experience to join our team at Charter Communication in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both software development and testing, with proven expertise in creating and executing automated test scripts, developing test frameworks, and ensuring high-quality software deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify and resolve software defects.
  • Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality and performance.
  • Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to the development team.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of testing standards and best practices.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure they are met through effective testing.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and advancements in testing tools and methodologies.
Qualifications:
  • 9-10 years of experience in software development and testing.
  • Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
  • Extensive experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Experience with API testing and performance testing tools.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Fluent in Spanish with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • US Citizenship or Green Card holder.
