Job Description:- Responsibilities:
- Will be evaluating the strategic direction for Executive Reporting. Gather requirements from business users, understand reporting options, plot existing capabilities to required & desired features to options. Determine cost/benefit of options.
An individual with the software package selection process may align with this work
The CSR product is relatively old and fragile.
Enumerate the current features/functions of the CSR product
Work with stakeholders to identify any existing gaps/pain points
Evaluate an alternative that may be introduced as part of the Elevate project
Do a side-by-side comparison of features/capabilities of the existing and Elevate alternative against features identified in 1&2
Determine cost of operating each solution
Provide a summary recommendation
In our old consulting practice, this was generally an IT Architect with some business consulting skills.
We did 'package selection' engagements to help our clients to pick a system to support some part of their operations (i.e. Workday vs. Oracle vs. SAP for HCM)
