What You ll Do:

• Refine interfaces in our human-in-the-loop AI systems.
• Work closely with our SOC operators to understand their workflows and address their pain points.
• Design and implement robust backend systems to support web interfaces.
• Develop infrastructure deployment and replication models for AI-enabled edge devices.
• Scale our backend systems to support an expanding fleet of edge devices, customers, and internal human operators.
• Set and uphold standards for best practices in frontend and backend development.
• Lead design reviews and solicit input from multiple teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Work on challenging interdisciplinary problems within our deep tech stack.
• Deploy changes with immediate impacts on our product, worldwide.

Requirements:

• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and a deep understanding of modern web development practices.
• Hands-on experience with React, Redux, GraphQL, or similar web frameworks.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on full-stack development.
• Experience with backend development and best coding practices for Python, Go, Rust or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with Django
• Experience building and scaling high availability distributed systems.
• Understanding of standard Observability tools such as Datadog, Cloudwatch etc.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and DevOps practices.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality products that meet and exceed user expectations.
• Eager to work with, mentor, and learn from peers through code reviews, design documents, and pair programming.
• Enthusiastic about diving into different areas of technology and problem-solving.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience leading teams or managing projects.
• Familiarity with WebRTC or WebSockets.
• Experience with AI, including generative AI technologies.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Salary Range in SVBA: $170k - $200k (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law)
