Pay

$17-$20 an hour

Job Description

  • Ensure patient charts are ready for the day when opening the office
  • Check patients in for appointments as they arrive
  • Collect Co-pays
  • Update patient records in EPIC to reflect changes in demographics, insurance, update HIPAA forms
  • Check patients out at end of appointment and schedule follow-up visits
  • Answer phone line to schedule patient appointments, update patient information, answer inquiries from patients or other callers
  • Scan patient documents into medical chart

Hard Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience with an EMR system, preferably EPIC
  • Experience in entering patient demographics, scheduling appointments, updating patient charts, and scanning documentation
  • 6 months to 1 year recent experience in a medical receptionist, medical admin role, or office experience
