Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled professional to perform hands-on installation support for new or modified production equipment. This role involves supervising and providing direction to contract engineering techs, internal maintenance, and outside contract trades during all aspects of equipment installation and conversion.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform hands-on installation support for new or modified production equipment.
Supervise and provide direction during equipment installation and conversion.
Perform hands-on troubleshooting, process start-up, design, and documentation of Mechanical and Electrical Systems.
Create and modify documentation to complete drawing packages, installation checklists, machine part lists, illustrations, and machine specs.
Provide direction to technicians to create and modify documentation.
Assess condition and usability of existing equipment for new installation plans.
Develop mechanical and electrical installation checklists and schedules.
Procure and expedite materials for new or modified equipment.
Specify or recommend vendors and maintain liaison between vendor and plant.
Re-design mechanical components to reduce installation cost and solve equipment interferences.
Prepare work orders and direct maintenance personnel and/or outside contract trades.
Create, review, and update installation documentation and drawings.
Execute initial equipment set-up and debug up to the point of turnover to operations.
Interface with all departments to ensure efficient use and operation of equipment.
Redline existing drawings and follow-up with drafting services or oversee draftsmen.
Provide third-level troubleshooting support and direct contract engineering techs and trades.
Provide training on new equipment installation procedures.
Analyze and correct equipment installation practices to improve efficiencies.
Develop cost reduction plans for installation projects.

Required Qualifications:
BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology, BS in Mechanical Engineering, or BS in Project Management.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience.
Self-motivated and results-oriented.
Ability to handle multiple priorities.
Ability to work well with varied job requirements.
Ability to work well in small teams.
Well organized.

Preferred Qualifications:
Strong practical hands-on mechanical aptitude.
Understanding of process variables: flow, temperature, rate, pressure, level.
Thorough understanding of mechanical drive trains, electrical and pneumatic actuators.

Windows, MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
AutoCAD 2023, Inventor 2023, MS Project.
Pneumatic systems and schematics.
