ETL Data Integrator

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an ETL Data Integrator for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Banking clients in Auburn Hills, MI or Frisco, TX.

Responsibilities :

• Prepares unit test plans and performs unit testing and peer reviews to ensure integration quality.
• Resolves defects and facilitate troubleshooting of integration issues.
• Advises ways to expand usage of IS standard tools on projects and other initiatives.
• Drafts and updates policies and best practices.
• Performs continuous improvement of efficiency, productivity, and usage.
• Implements methods to capture system SLA, logs, user experience, and data quality metrics. Implements security patterns included in the design.
• Implements vulnerability assessment remediation as required.
• Resolves operation issues and support operations when needed.
• Ensures that established procedures are followed and coordinate changes with other support staff.
• Keeps manager informed of status of assigned tasks and activities through accurate, timely, and appropriate status reporting. Performs mentoring/coaching to less experienced team members.
• Builds integration solutions in accordance with strategies, and standards.

Required Skills :

• Strong understanding of Database design in Oracle, DB2, SQL including problem solving skills, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage project tasks, multi-task work assignments on two or more projects.
• Ability to build relationships across the enterprise.
• 3-5 years of experience preparing unit test plans
• 3-5 years of experience of Database design in Oracle, DB2, and SQL.
