  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Role and Responsibilities:

CLOUD/ETL QA TESTER
Location :: Charlotte, NC (3 days on site/2 days remote)
Duration: W2/C2C

Qualifications

  • Proven experience collaborating with business stakeholders and product owners to gather data requirements and articulate business cases.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Over 12 years of experience as a QA/Tester, specializing in data-centric projects, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive hands-on expertise in ETL/ELT testing, delivering data quality reports, and performance tuning using ETL tools like SSIS/ADF within multi-dimensional Data Warehousing environments such as SQL DB/Synapse.
  • Proficient in Azure, particularly in data-heavy and analytics applications that utilize both relational and NoSQL databases, Data Warehousing, and Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Databricks, Blob Storage, Python/PySpark, Logic Apps, Key Vault, and Azure Functions.
  • Strong experience in defining and implementing data quality standards for auditing and monitoring purposes.
  • Deep understanding of data engineering principles, including data modeling, ETL processes, and database management.
  • Proficient in SQL for data querying, validation, and analysis, alongside scripting experience in SQL and Python.
  • Strong knowledge of data management, ETL processes, data warehousing, and business intelligence tools.
  • Professional qualifications in data management are a plus.
  • Expertise in functional and non-functional testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and defect management tools.
  • A collaborative team player who adapts quickly to change and manages multiple priorities effectively.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experienced in data quality testing for engineering pipelines and collaboration with data engineering teams.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, with experience in Scrum or SAFe frameworks.
  • Familiarity with QA automation tools and frameworks is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of working with technology, including API experience, and applying agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage large datasets, bringing order and rigor to unstructured data environments while enhancing accuracy.
  • Self-starter with the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle competing priorities.
  • Proactive problem solver with strong planning and communication skills.
  • Experience in multi-functional and multi-year implementation or transformation initiatives.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior leadership as well as handling detailed analytical tasks.
  • Intellectually curious, innovative, and open-minded with excellent judgment.
  • Knowledge of industry data compliance strategies and practices, including continuous integration, regression testing, and versioning.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Motivated to thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the retail industry, with a solid understanding of retail operations.
  • Certification in Quality Assurance, Data Engineering, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and associated data services.
