Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst with a strong technical background and experience in the automotive domain, including familiarity with automotive protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, FlexRay, etc.). The ideal candidate will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of automotive-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders, including business users, product managers, engineers, and technical teams, to gather and document business requirements.
  • Analyze and map business processes within the automotive industry, with a focus on embedded systems and automotive protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
  • Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and specifications for development teams.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify process improvements and system enhancements, providing solutions that align with business goals.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement technical solutions that meet business objectives, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Support project management activities, including project planning, task prioritization, and status reporting.
  • Conduct system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and accuracy of the delivered solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging automotive technologies, trends, and industry standards.
  • Create detailed documentation, including business cases, user stories, process flows, and technical specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Solid technical understanding of automotive protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, MOST, Ethernet, UDS, etc.
  • Familiarity with automotive embedded systems, ECUs, and vehicle communication networks.
  • Experience with system modeling, requirements analysis, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in tools such as MS Visio, JIRA, Confluence, and other project management or diagramming tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ADAS, Telematics, Infotainment, or other automotive software systems.
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE, or other automotive standards.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
