Job Description:

The Client is seeking a Senior Broadband and Digital Equity Data Analyst to serve as the District s clearinghouse for all broadband and digital equity data-related issues.

Complete Description:

This position performs a wide variety of analytical, research and administrative functions with the goal of increasing broadband capacity and solving the digital divide in Washington, DC. This professional position reports to client for Digital Services, located in client will be responsible for all data collection and analysis for Tech Together DC, a values-based city-wide initiative to close the digital divide in Washington, DC. Work will include identifying and managing large public and private datasets, conducting geo-spatial and statistical analysis, designing empirical research and survey instruments, and providing technical assistance for strategy, planning, and performance management.

Skills:

  • 6+ yrs. as SME in Broadband and Digital Equity Data Analysis. Required 6 Years
  • 6-10 yrs as SME in complex enterprise-level projects. Required 6 Years
  • Bachelor of Science degree in geography, engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil), or other technical field Required
  • Master s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience Required
  • Expert GIS skills and 5+ years working with Esri tools (ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, etc). Required 6 Years
  • Deep experience with Business Intelligence and Statistical Modeling tools. Required 6 Years
  • Expertise in at least one statistical programming language (R, Python, Stata, SAS, or similar). Required 6 Years
  • Ability to conduct independent research on complex issues involving policy, economic, financial, or technical matters. Required 6 Years
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook). Required 6 Years
  • Professional experience related to the broadband or telecommunications industry and/or digital inclusion-related data. Required 6 Years
