Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Control Systems Engineer with a focus on Power Distribution and Electrical Control System design. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing control systems, power distribution units, and driving complex design projects in the semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Electrical Control Systems and Power Distribution Units based on system and sub-system level specifications.
  • Review and analyze system and sub-system level schematics, layouts, and test plans.
  • Collaborate with engineers to debug, isolate, and resolve electrical control issues.
  • Design module-level components, including AC & DC harness design and the selection of OEM components.
  • Lead system-level and sub-system-level design projects, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to design specifications.
  • Guide teams on power system designs, including schematic design, panel layout, and cable harness designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical design, application software, and manufacturing teams.
  • Factor system-level specifications into the design of Power Distribution Units.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant standards (IEC, CE, NEC, NFPA, IPC-WHMA-620, SEMI, UL) during product development.
  • Utilize Electrical and E-CAD tools along with PLM/PDM software to manage the design process.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems.

Qualifications:

  • Tech/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in electrical control system design and power distribution unit development.
  • Proficiency in electrical control system and power architecture design at system and sub-system levels.
  • Familiarity with vacuum components, servo motors, capacitive and inductive sensors, fiber optic communication, and cable shielding.
  • Knowledge of SEMI domain standards and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards such as IEC, CE, NEC, NFPA, IPC-WHMA-620, SEMI, and UL.
  • Experience with Electrical and E-CAD tools, as well as PLM/PDM tools.
  • Hands-on experience with PLC and HMI programming.
