This vacancy is for a technical position within the Division of Regulatory & Utility Services in the Information Technology Department (ITD). Specifically, this position will address the needs of the Water & Sewer Department Business Operations application support and development. The job entails varied aspects such as user-requirement gathering, developing technical specifications, integration development.; modifying configuration, deploying code across multiple environments, testing, providing demos, developing dashboards, reports, and queries; collaborating with users, vendors, analysts, data center staff, and other stakeholders, conducting research, performing analysis, preparing documentation, and communicating written and verbally on a regular basis. This position will work closely with customers and colleagues from multiple distinct areas; analyze, and document existing business processes and requirements.

Experience with the following is preferred:

  • Develop, test, and support business applications.
  • Visual Studio Development (.NET Core, C#, Angular, React, Bootstrap, JavaScript, etc.)
  • BI & Analytics development experience (Microsoft Power BI or other)
  • SQL development tools
  • Relational databases including SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
  • Application Programming Interfaces (API) and Web Services (SOAP, XML, JSON, RESTful, etc.)
  • Agile development methodologies.
