JOB DESCRIPTION

Candidate Profile:

3+ (Minimal) years of proven experience in an application development/testing role, developing in a medical regulated source-controlled environment

3+ years of hands-on experience performing automation or software development using C#/Java

Experience with Microsoft UI Automation, Microsoft development platforms

Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and GitHub or proficient in Java

Experience establishing Test Automation Frameworks and creating reusable component libraries governed by FDA regulations for a Medical device

Deep understanding of OOP concepts, algorithms, and data structures

Ability to think broadly from a system perspective, understanding the full scope while considering all perspectives, and providing solutions in a timely manner

Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills

Excellent understanding of test automation principles and techniques:

o Test Driven Development (TDD)

o Behavior Driven Development (BDD)

o Azure DevOps pipelines

o Unit tests, code coverage, instrumentation, etc

Have an ability to Improve test coverage by recognizing insignificant requirement coverage and identifying verification gaps for the specified functionality in the existing automation in order to create more robust test plans

Experience designing and implementing testing automation frameworks and methodologies to support agile product development in a medical environment

Excellent analytical & troubleshooting skills, as well as innovation and creativity combined with a good personality working on a collaborative team

Ability to work in an extremely geographically distributed organization, spanning US locations, India, and Germany

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science required

Strong written and verbal skills

Ability to write technical documentation

Self-starting, quick learner, ability to work independently and contribute once established in a role

Very Good Understanding of all aspects involved with software testing

Other Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge and understanding of distributed testing architectures

Awareness and familiarity with trends in industry automation testing tools, frameworks, and best practices

Extensive testing background with a thorough understanding of test techniques, applications, and executions, including Functional Testing, System Testing, System Integration and Test Automation

Experience with tracking test execution status and generating test reports for management to measure and gauge test progress

Experience in Medical Device industry and FDA regulated environment a plus

The candidate profile requires at least 3 years of experience in application development/testing in a medical regulated environment, proficiency in C#/Java, and experience with Microsoft UI Automation, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and GitHub. Key skills include OOP concepts, test automation principles, TDD, BDD, Azure DevOps pipelines, and the ability to improve test coverage.

A bachelor's degree in computer science is required along with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
