JOB DESCRIPTION

Role: Support the Software Test and Tool Development activities for medical capital equipment development project. The expert needs to plan, develop & execute software testing & evaluate the verification status of the product. This role also requires to work with globally distributed team working on the product development, verification & release.

The role involves supporting software test and tool development activities for medical capital equipment, requiring expertise in Java Spring Boot, microservices, RESTful APIs, Docker/Kubernetes, Karate framework, Selenium, and API test automation. Top Skill Requirement

Proven experience in software QA, with a focus on Java Spring Boot and microservice architectures.

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

Proficient with Karate framework, JS test frameworks to generate events to the system under test

Experienced in web automation testing using Selenium

Proficient in API test automation with microservices

Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests

Experience in writing test cases

Hands-on experience in Test Automation is preferred

4+ years of understanding and experience in the testing & tool development of software for development activities

Working experience in medical devices (at least 2 years) is desirable

Hands on experience in manual testing i.e. understanding of product requirement, risk assessment, creation of protocol, execution, report creation and providing product verification status is required

Experience with automated testing of medical devices to functional requirements is another mandatory requirement

Experience with Python scripting language or other scripting language

Experience with analyzing requirements to develop automated test protocols

Strong written and verbal communication, judgment, decision-making, and critical thinking skills

Team player with ability to work independently or within project teams with general guidance.

Responsibilities

Actively working within a team of Product Software verification Engineers

Ensures the quality of software systems, validate product software requirements, security requirements and compliances

Creation and execution of Design Verification Plan, Protocols and Reports to perform SW testing of products and report any issues discovered

Interaction with various stakeholders including SW development, verification, QA/ RA teams

Perform review of design, development, and testing of software used in medical device product lines.

Actively working to support Automated Test Equipment validation activities.
