Hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 days remote
The client would like to see more experience in engineering and less in development or operations/manufacturing. Looking for more ENGINEERING background.
GMP MFG Large Molecule Biological Facility/ Pharmaceutical Industry experience is required.
Top 3 Skills Required:
- Project or Manufacturing experience
- Process or Equipment experience
- Experience with Biologics (Large Molecule)
These roles will require the following skills:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree
- They will be systems owners, or will be supporting the systems owners
- Will need Process / Equipment knowledge
- Will work with 3rd party engineering firm, and will work with equipment managers
- Must have experience in Capitol projects
- Must have experience with Project and Design work
- Must have at least 4 years of experience
- Experience with DeltaV system
3 roles to be filled:
Upstream Role: Inoculum, Single Use Bioreactor, Wave Bioreactor, Perfusion Bioreactor, Centrifuge
Downstream Role: Chromatography, Ultrafiltration Diafiltration, In Line Dilution/Conditioning, Viral Filtration, Column Packing
Utilities and Support Role: Media Prep, Buffer Prep, CIP, SIP, WFI, Process Gases, Caustic Dilution and Distribution, Clean Steam, Waste Treatment
Education Required:
Minimum of a Bachelor's or equivalent University Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
MS/MBA/Ph.D.
Project Engineer (PE) Certificate preferred
FPX certification and Six Sigma and/or Lean experience are a plus
ISPE and/or ASME BPE active participation

4 Years
Job Description:
A minimum of four (4) years of process/plant engineering experience in GMP MFG large molecule biologics facilities.
Experience in green or brown field GMP MFG facility start-up including process systems, automation, utilities, facilities, and operations.
Strong technical background in Process and Manufacturing engineering, manufacturing operations and financial fundamentals.
Strong analytical skills to synthesize business needs, manufacturing requirements, engineering elements, and technology inputs, etc. into business solutions
The ability to lead and/or support multiple projects simultaneously
Defines technical or scientific direction of programs composed of multiple complex projects
Engineers new and modifies existing processes to ensure right first-time process startup
Track record of successful program execution and team outcomes
