Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SAP AMS Lead / SAP Support Lead to oversee our SAP support operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP modules, including SD, FI, LE, MM/IM, CAR, EWM, Basis, Security, and ABAP. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage a team of support professionals, and the expertise to ensure optimal performance and functionality of SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of SAP support analysts, ensuring high-quality support and continuous development.
- Incident Management: Oversee the resolution of incidents and service requests related to SAP modules, ensuring timely responses and effective solutions.
- System Monitoring: Monitor SAP systems for performance and availability, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Module Expertise: Provide expert guidance in SAP SD, FI, LE, MM/IM, CAR, EWM, Basis, Security, and ABAP, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Change Management: Coordinate and manage change requests, ensuring proper testing and documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, procedures, and system configurations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancements within the SAP environment.
- Training: Provide training and support to end-users, enhancing their understanding of SAP functionalities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in SAP support and maintenance roles.
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules: SD, FI, LE, MM/IM, CAR, EWM, Basis, Security, and ABAP.
- Proven experience in team management and leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- SAP certification(s) in relevant modules is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP HANA and S/4HANA.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of integration with non-SAP systems.
