Pipe Stress Engineer - 6727

Seeking a mechanical engineer with expertise in AutoCAD, pipe stress analysis, and mechanical systems design for project execution and construction support.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 6+ years of experience with AutoCAD and Pipe Stress Analysis
• PE license in TN (preferred)
• Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as ASME, API

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with vessel design, HVAC systems, steam systems, and process cooling/heating systems
• Proficiency in selecting construction materials, writing specifications, and managing mechanical drawings
• Familiarity with project cost control and schedule management

Key Responsibilities:

• Select construction materials and methods, write specifications, and supervise mechanical drawings
• Perform mechanical engineering analyses for systems including piping, HVAC, and storage tanks
• Conduct facility inspections to assess safety and integrity of buildings, pipelines, and equipment
• Develop construction phase plans, ensuring availability of materials, equipment, and personnel
• Ensure projects are executed according to plans, specifications, and safety practices
• Execute commissioning plans and maintain project documentation

Pay Details: $51.00 to $69.00 per hour
