We are seeking a Project Director- JOC Construction to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a variety of construction-related projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with project staff to create a strategic action plan and cost estimates of materials, time, labor, and other resources required to complete the project.
  • Responsible for obtaining and overseeing necessary permits and licensing to ensure compliance with all relevant working regulations and standards.
  • Review and approve drawings and samples prior to submission.
  • Promote JOC construction to existing and new customers.
  • Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
  • Create and update a project schedule, tailoring the level of detail based on the project's complexity.
  • Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • Acts as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors.
  • Develop project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Oversees various aspects of workflow, staffing, budget allocation, and scheduling of the assigned projects.
  • Responsible for ensuring SDB maintains a zero safety incident project for the projects in which they are assigned.
  • Oversee JOC projects.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, is required.
  • Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of project scheduling.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflicts.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications.
  • At least five years of experience in project management, engineering, systems design, or other related field.
  • Prior experience in construction or the related field is preferred.
