Job Summary:
The Technical Writer II will develop technical documentation to support enterprise products, contributing to both internal and external user experiences.
This position is part of the Client's Knowledge Center Content Development organization, which focuses on delivering global performance improvement strategies and creating innovative knowledge experiences.
The role involves designing content for user manuals, installation guides, and training materials, ensuring best-in-class knowledge transfer and enhancing overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and write technical content, including descriptions, installation procedures, operating instructions, maintenance, and troubleshooting information.
  • Conduct interviews with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather data and create accurate content.
  • Manage and coordinate documentation and training material development projects, ensuring timely deliverables in a dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications:
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to translate highly technical information into clear and understandable text and illustrations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with engineering, marketing, SMEs, and external team members.
  • In-depth knowledge of electronic publishing tools, including FrameMaker, Adobe Illustrator, Robo Help, Photoshop, content management systems, and DITA.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • FrameMaker and DITA experience preferred.
  • 4-7 years of technical writing experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
